Lucy Meadley helps companies protect their IP. She has extensive international experience, working for leading global firms, as well as in-house for a multi-national consumer brand. She brings a commercial perspective and deep technical expertise to the protection, exploitation and commercialisation of all types of intellectual property. Lucy assists her clients with global IP strategies.

Lucy also provides expert advice in relation to commercial agreements, such as licences and assignments, due diligence, branding and marketing advice, domain name dispute resolution, design protection and copyright advice

1 Lucy advised Google Inc in relation to their first registration of the trade mark GOOGLE in Australia in respect of a broader range of goods & services;

4 Lucy has provided extensive IP infringement advice for Facebook Inc. and IP commercial advice for Volkswagen AG.

2 Lucy has managed the Australian trade mark portfolios of 20th Century Fox Film Corporation, News Ltd, Australian News Channel Pty Ltd, Premier Media Group Pty Ltd and Foxtel Management Pty Ltd

5 Lucy has managed a large international project of assignments and transfers for Diageo

3 Lucy has managed the Australian trade mark portfolio of Red Bull GmbH, IGA (Metcash) and the International trade mark portfolio of Spirits International

6 Lucy was involved in numerous trade mark oppositions and disputes arising out of the STOLI vodka litigation
